Solid Surface

Material is made from mineral filler and a pigmented resin binder. It is non-porous and bacteria resistant. Features include a seamless appearance, integrated under-mount sinks, and cove backsplashes. It can be formed into almost any imaginable shape. Its greatest asset is probably reparability (scratches can be sanded out; burned or cracked areas can be removed and replaced with little to no noticeable damage). Manufacturer’s warranty is 10-15 years depending on brand.
